How to make a Minty Berry Blues Mojito:
*you can easily make this a non-alcoholic spritzer--just skip on the rum!*
Servings: 1, 12 oz serving
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 ounces brewed Sunrize Tea Minty Berry Blues concentrate (use 1 1/2 teaspoons of this loose leaf tea to brew your 3 ounces)
- 1 ounce white rum
- 6 ounces club soda
- 1 ounce simple syrup (two parts sugar to one part water)
- 5 mint leaves and a sprig for garnish
- 1 lime (one half will be juiced and the other should be sliced for garnish)
- 10 blueberries (5 for muddling, 5 for garnish)
- 1 cup ice
- Muddler or spoon to release flavors
Preparation (brewing Minty Berry Blues)
- Place 1 1/2 teaspoons of Minty Berry Blues into a strainer within a cup
- Pour 3 ounces of boiled water over tea
- Steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on flavor preferences, and remove strainer
- Let cool and cover vessel
- Place in your refrigerator and chill overnight
Directions:
- Juice 1/2 your lime
- Place your lime juice and mint in your glass and muddle
- Pour 1 ounce of simple syrup and 5 blueberries in your glass and muddle again
- Add ice, while scattering blueberries and sliced limes throughout your glass
- Pour the white rum over the ice
- Pour in your Minty Berry Blues tea concentrate
- Top with club soda
- Add a mint sprig, lime slice, and straw to enjoy your tasty purple drink!
